I found out this morning, quite by accident just how deadly coffee can be. It is sad really. I stopped by a coffee shop and got one to go. A regular brew, nothing fancy. It was too early to get anything really good.
Got back into my Jeep and took off to meet my sister-in-law at her house so we could go check out some new Pomeranian puppies for sale. I am getting into the biz and am still looking for that perfect male.
She lives on a dirt road, as do I, and about a mile into it I missed dodging a pothole. Um…… The cup bounced off my dash and onto my chest and into my lap. OMGawsh! The pain! I scorched my little skin cells. Killed them! I knew I should have poored the hot arse liquid into my travel cup but noooo…… I didn’t have time for that safety precaution. My inside thighs looks like a rare steak right now.
Coffee can kill skin cells and damage the ego. No doubt about it. If I was a bit older and sitting in McDonalds, I’d sue. 
Just kidding. Any one who doesn’t realize fresh coffee is HOT, well…..
A lesson. Always secure your cup or you’ll be sporting around a new color scheme on your shirt and pants and wondering where the winter sunburn came from on your legs.
