The Bonjour 1L Thermal Carafe has been a nice addition to my kitchen. Even though I strongly prefer a 2l unit, this one has come in handy more times that I can count. When it is just me at home, it is perfect, however, if you have more than one to coffee for, it tends to run you to death refilling it. On the other hand though, it is absolutely perfect to hold hot water for tea. That is mainly what I use it for and it is just perfect.
The carafe comes in a beautiful brushed stainless steel art deco style. It features push button pour, asbestos free glass liners, and can be purchased in 1 litre or 2 litre sizes.
Does it keep it hot? It sure does and keeps it cold too if that is what you’re after. I’v had my water stay hot for 3 or more hours and longer on hot days. In cold weather, you can still count on that 3 hours. Not too bad and I’ve certainly had worse.
So far so good on leakage. I’ve not experienced any but there are times when it pours a bit cockeyed. That usually means the lid it not secured properly.
I am pretty pleased with the Bonjour 1L Thermal Carafe and recommend it to you.
